Innovators for the public

The concept of social entrepreneur caught my attention.
The social entrepreneurship he described was individuals who combine the pragmatic and results-oriented methods of a business entrepreneur with the goals of a social reformer.  It is a great story that a just 20 years old studuent from Harvard on summer to witnessed the power of a simple idea to effect vast social change and to devote his life in this change.  The world is more likely to evolve in a way to benefit those who have already in power.  But through his global nonprofit, Drayton aims to find change-making leaders around the world and watch as they transform ingrained institutions and improve lives exponentially. I would like to be the one he is looking for.

Re: Innovators for the public

“The Harvard student” certainly has become an inspirational story, with very "sticky" qualities, sharing the tale of the simple idea that makes a difference. Bill Drayton's personal journey of educational success followed by political, commercial and entrepreneurial triumphs challenge all to create their own opportunities by asking the question, “what can I do?” The hundreds of answers to this question define an entrepreneur’s ability to dare themselves, witness a need, motivate others, and truly make a social change.
